Tension Machines
Our tension machines are complete systems with a 20ft connection developed on the basis of practical experience. Transport is easily possible on any trailer using twist locks. Fork pockets and various lifting points allow easy movement of the machines. The spooling machines are easy to operate using either the remote control or directly on the control panel inside. Multiple reel shaft diameters and a movable second bearing point allow use in various applications with both tension and constant tension. Our systems are designed in compliance with offshore quality requirements.

Maintenance and testing
In addition of rental winchsystems, TWS offers the possibility of complete overhaul / maintenance of winchsystems. TWS is also capable of testing winchsystems prior or subsequent to the maintenance on our dynamic test facility. TWS has a dynamic test facility with a maximum load of 1400kN.

TEW30000

The TEW30000 is an electrically powered mooring winch on a heavy duty frame with fixture holes. Frequency drive control, overload protection, temperature monitoring and standstill heating are standard.

The drum have a clutch for disconnecting the drum during the operation of the brake band. By using the band brake the loads can be lowered in a controlled and rapid manner. The maximum holding power of the winch on the band brake is 85.000 kg. The band brake can only be used for one direction.

The maximum electrical pulling force can be set with the torque potentiometer, maximum 30.000kg. When the pulling force in the wire rope reach the set point the winch stops rotating and keeps the pulling force in the wire rope.

The TEW30000D is an electrically powered mooring winch on a heavy duty frame with fixture holes. Frequency drive control, overload protection, temperature monitoring and standstill heating are standard. Both drum have clutches and brandbrakes for pulling independently operating the drums. By using the band brakes the loads can be lowered in a controlled and rapid manner. The maximum holding power of the winch on each band brake is 85.000 kg. The band brake can only be used for one direction. The 15 tons warping head has a fixed connection to the main shaft. To use the warping head the drums have to be disengaged.

The maximum electrical pulling force can be set with the torque potentiometer, maximum 30.000kg. When the pulling force in the wire rope reach the set point the winch stops rotating and keeps the pulling force in the wire rope.

In addition of rental winchsystems, TWS offers the possibility of complete overhaul / maintenance of winchsystems. TWS is also capable of testing winchsystems prior or subsequent to the maintenance on our dynamic test facility. TWS has a dynamic test facility with a maximum load of 1400kN.
